Warranty
All equipment sold by CaterHub carries a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Standard Warranty Periods
- Commercial refrigeration: 12 to 24 months [PLACEHOLDER: confirm per brand]
- Cooking equipment: 12 months
- Food preparation machinery: 12 months
- Stainless steel fabrication: 12 months
- Smallwares, utensils and consumables: no warranty unless faulty on arrival
What Is Covered
Defects in materials or workmanship under normal commercial use, including parts and labour where the manufacturer provides for it.
What Is Not Covered
- Wear parts such as seals, gaskets, filters, globes and blades
- Damage from incorrect installation, incorrect voltage or power surges
- Damage from misuse, neglect or inadequate cleaning and maintenance
- Equipment used outside its rated duty cycle
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
Claiming
Email info@caterhub.co.za with your order number, the model and serial number, and a description of the fault. Photographs or video of the fault speed up the process considerably.
