Rheninghaus Start cheese slicer with a 300mm blade.

A cheese slicer differs from a meat slicer in the blade and the drive: cheese loads the blade far harder than cold meat and will bind a standard slicer. Machines specified for cheese use a blade and motor rated for it, often with a non-stick coating to stop product adhering.

Do not use a meat-specified machine for hard cheese. Removable blade and carriage for cleaning. Requires a stable bench and a dedicated power point.
